Most of the designs are traditional American guitar designs (the Orchestra Model, the Dreadnought, etc.). They are time-tested and have become the standards in use today. What I endeavor to do is build a "vintage" guitar the way they used to. Of course, I will oftentimes employ a new method if I find it to be superior. These guitars each receive my absolute, concentrated attention, and are individually hand-voiced to fully bring out the instrument's unique character. To add distinction to the standard lines, I generally include a number of other enhancements (like more exotic woods, inlays, or simply another approach to a design). |
